Why I am Nominating This
Because it's a great "clone backup" utility.

* Stable and reliable
* Reasonably priced (free for full cloning; shareware fee to unlock other features)
* Nice "out-of-the-box friendly" UI
* Excellent documentation and support
* Good system resource management
* UI is responsive during copying (compared with Carbon Copy Cloner)
* Smart Update is faster and more robust than the psync Perl script CCC uses
* Handles cases that CCC doesn't (floating owner/on-the-fly verify)
* Doesn't copy first, then delete later, items like VM and temp files
* Updated fairly consistently, with optional automatic updating
* Copy scripts (not just top-level folder selection)
* Saved settings
* Safety Clone

How long has this been out? Never heard of it before.

SuperDuper was released January 2004 and has excellent ratings on Versiontracker - Shareware $19.95.
