After Effects 5.5: Available Dec 28th

Got a call from the reseller....they said they will receive the first shipment of AE 5.5 next Friday.

I ordered it a while ago...cant' wait

I have to say Adobe is doing a good job on delivering it on time (or even early)

Now I will hope we will have Photoshop 7 by the end of Feb (even though they said Q2 but I still have a hope we will see it earlier)

back in March, everybody was down on Adobe for not even announcing when OS X apps would appear, and praising Macromedia for getting Freehand 10 out the door. What a difference 9 months makes. Now, Adobe has 3 apps Carbonized before the end of the year (Illustrator10, AfterEffects 5.5, and Acrobat 5.0), and Macromedia still hasn't said when/if we'll see OS X versions of Flash, Dreamweaver, Fireworks and Director.

The Naked Mole Rat (formerly Mac the Knife) had a Flash 6 release in December, but that looks unlikely now.

Hopefully MacWorld SanFran will have all the answers...

I actually did whine at that time

The reason I whined was their complete silence. It was very frustrating. I understand everything takes time. But they should at least say something about what they are doing....
