| Has anyone tried porting Xwindows code to try to fire up an xterm under Mac OSX and then use Exodus to view the session (all on the local Mac machine)? |

| There are a couple of ways to do this: - Xvnc (I don't remember where I got the binary; sources can be found at http://www.uk.research.att.com/vnc/ but I had problems getting them to build, which is why i was glad I found a binary somewhere) and a VNC client ( http://www.geocities.com/tim_senecal/ ) - WeirdX ( http://www.jcraft.com/weirdx/ ) In both cases, you'll need X for Darwin, which is available from http://www.darwinfo.org/ports.shtml in order to get xterm. |
