hi ya all..
could someone check in the public beta if there is a file
called ... AboutBox.tiff
the path is...
system>
library>
coreservices>
loginwindow.app>
resources> ...
but just typing AboutBox.tiff in sherlock is prob. faster

BTW
maybe it is spelled without capitals or i am mistaken
about the name, i cant check i dont have it installed at the moment

I want to make a replacement for it

I couldn't find it at the path you mentioned. I can't think why the login panel would have an about box. Why do you want to change it?

This file is (in newer builds anyway, so I have been told) the picture in the 'about this mac' box
Why would i want to change it?
...If there is somethin customizable in the OS i will do it!

the trash, the loginpanel, etc etc
I then put it out on the web for others to enjoy.

Yepper, it's there. In the version I'm using (4k29) it's a tiff of the aqua X.
