Macosx.com chat now open

In preparation for Macworld San Francisco, we are pleased to announce MACOSX.COM - Community Chat on IRC.

The main goal of this is to discuss the events of MWSF live, as they happen. The main event, of course, will be Tuesday January 7, 9:00 am - 10:30 am PST, when Steve Jobs will deliver his Keynote Address.

Join us while we stay up to date as events unfold.

If you are familiar with IRC, you can find us on EFnet, server irc.choopa.net, channel #macosx.com.

A variety of good irc clients can be found at www.versiontracker.com. Just do a search for 'irc'. We are currently working on a free dedicated client to connect directly to our chat as well. Look for this soon.

Feel free to join the chat anytime before January 7 as we are hosting trivia there for your enjoyment until then. And we also expect this meeting place to become a more permanent gathering spot for our members to chat anytime in the future.
