It's all coming together

Slowly, but surely, all the apps are arriving. Apple has survived the first wave, now they can focus on optimizing and developing new hardware. I figure in about 2-3 years, OS X will be glass and rock solid. It's already quite excellent, and that's on underperforming hardware. Me excited.

I wonder what the DW3 bootable CD will be like, since I guess you need it for the boot volume.

gee ken, i've been slipping this bit of information into lots of threads since i got back from mwsf. unfortunately i didn't see any 'sneak peak' versions that they were handing out. i would have nabbed one and written a review. but they were taking preorders for it. considering they were demoing the os x version at mwsf '02, i think it's about time they finally got it released. on the other hand, they were too smart to pull a norton and release a public beta that could be dangerous. (at least i hope it will be rock solid by the time we see it)
