Unhappy

Hey y'all!

I am very new to OS X (as of last night).
So far I like it. However, there are several things I am missing.

Most of all I would like to use my
Iomega ZIP-CD 650 which will work with OS 9.
Under OS X however I can't get it to recognize CDs.
I know, Apple mentions that external CD-Drives and DVD Drives are not supported. However, are there new drivers out?

How will Toast 5 work then?

How can I burn CD's on Mac OS X?

Thank's for the help!!

PBMAC
