The
developers of Fire have announced on their web site that development is to cease. Fire is/was a multi-protocol instant messaging application for OS X, and could be used with AIM, ICQ, irc, Jabber (including Google Talk and Apple iChat Server), MSN, Yahoo! Messenger, and Apple Bonjour. The message on the front of the web page reads:
