| VmWare-like on Mac OS X? Guys, I'd like to experiment with Linux/OpenBSD on my PowerBook, but I'm not ready to reformat my HD yet. Is there something like VmWare for Mac Os X? I've already have Virtual PC, but I need something to run PPC softwares. I know that Mac-On-Linux can run Mac Os under Linux. Is MOL portable to Mac Os X? Ciao, Andrea |

| Hrm... basically what you want is the opposite of MOL... you need LOM...... anybody know if it exists? I'd like something like this, too.

| You could always play with the FreeBSD programs etc. (os x has the same kernel than freebsd) Or you could bring apps from direct unix source to your mac, as a start ![]() |

| adambyte, you are right. I need LOM and it seems the author is working on a port. Unfortunately, there is no release dates yet. Giaguara & DeltaMac, I know I can easily port lots of open source stuff to Mac OS X. But I need a true Linux/PPC environment to test some security software we develop at work. Andrea |
