Another Lawsuit coming???

I honestly could care less since I don't use my mac to fax but I think Apple better change their page a bit

http://www.apple.com/macosx/features/faxing/

Especially anyone that purchases a new imac without a fax modem... I guess apple is going to be passing out free modems cause I just can't figure out how to fax using just my new imac isight and mac os x?? Or maybe 10.4.4 is going to include a free efax gateway?

hmmm

Nah, you can't sue them for that. It doesn't say you'll be able to send faxes with your new Mac, it just says that Mac OS X is capable of sending faxes.

Edit: Ah no, wait. I've just seen the title

Well, that certainly makes for interesting reading.

Yup...but that page was placed long before the decision to stop adding modems as stock items happened with the iMac G5s. At the time it was placed, it was true. Now it's just an old page that needs updated.

In fact, it wouldn't surprise me if you could find a 'terms of use' statement somewhere on their website which in a nutshell stated that all claims or information provided herein is subject to change without notice.
