Unhappy sound issue in parallels desktops

Hello, I was hoping if someone could help me with my current problem
I am running windows xp sp II under parallels in order to use voipstunt (which is currently not available for mac) everything works fine and I can talk and hear the person on the other line but after a few minutes the sound stops working in the virtual machine and the only way to solve it is to restart the virtual machine. The mike works, people hear me but sound dissapears.
Any ideas what this can be due to? I am no running any other applications on the mac that may use the sound card.
Thanx very much for your help

Claudio

I can't say for sure because I've never run into that issue myself but we can work together to try a few things.

Does this happen when you don't use that VOIP program? If you try to play music does it also stop?
