| Virtual OS program problems I have a Power Book G4 17" with Leopard 10.5.4 and I'm having problems getting ANY virtual OS program to work, or even work on the architecture of my OS. Does anyone have any clues or could help me get one working? I tried downloading the VMWare 2.0 beta, but it didn't work at all. I got the circle with the line across when I opened the folder. Thank you. |

| Also, the book is not an intel. I have about 1 g of RAM. |

| The G4 PPC WILL NOT virtualize! It is a PPC chip, not an Intel chip. You only SLOW way to run Windows is to install Virtual PC for PPC if you can find a copy.

| What does that mean? Does VirtualPC launch? Does it give you any error messages? Please explain what you mean by that in greater detail.

| Virtual PC ... http://www.macupdate.com/info.php/id/6078/virtual-pc does in fact work on my 15" G4 PowerBook running Leopard 10.5.4, and it runs surprising well considering. I run a copy of Windows 98 under VPC just so my wife can view and use a Windows only Garden specific CD program. jb.
