| Help with Boot Camp driver installation I have XP installed on my mac but every time i try to install the boot camp drivers using the Leopard installation disc it gives me an error saying "The package requires a new version of windows installer." And then when i try to update the windows installer it says "The required resources "update" is missing" and then it just cancels the setup.... Does anyone know how to solve this problem?? Please.. thanx |

| How about the download from this page? - http://www.softwarepatch.com/windows/wininstallnt.html This is assuming that you have WinXP/SP3 If that doesn't work, then a repair install of Windows may be needed. If THAT doesn't work, you should remove the Windows partition (run your Boot Camp to do that), then forget about Windows completely ( - sorry, couldn't resist!)That is, create a new Win partition with Boot Camp, and try the Windows install again. Then, try that additional windows installer update before you try to install anything else.

| If you are using XP service pack three in Windows then boot back into OS X, run Software Update or go to Apple downloads and get the Boot Camp for XP s3 update for Boot Camp.
