| Making an mpeg file readable by both mac and win users in a Dreamweaver website?? I recently put together my first website. In the site my client has an mpeg file of his cable commercial. I inserted it (via ActiveX) and it plays fine on a PC (Launches Windows Media Player) How can I get it to launch Quicktime when a Mac user clicks on it? Thanks for any help. --Rob |

| ActiveX isn't supported on the Macintosh, so you'll need to find a different way of embedding that content in the web page. I usually set the video up for streaming, then have the movie open in a different appropriately-sized window. This works for both Macintosh and Windows computers -- QuickTime or WMP will take over; whichever is configured to handle mpeg files.
