Checking links sitewide in Dreamweaver

Checking links sitewide in Dreamweaver

I have extracted all of the files from our company website via CyberDuck because Dreamweaver kept having problems saying 'the file does not exist or there is a permissions error'. I can still connect remotely via Dreamweaver, but when I try to 'Cehck all links sitewide', nothing happens and at the bottom of the palette it says there are 224 'orphaned links', 0 all, 0 OK, and 0 broken. It's obviously not reading them. Any suggestions
