DVD burning, .cue/.bin

Hey. So I finally got Toast Titanium 6 and some DVD-R's, and successfully burned an MPG file. But I also have a movie that is two files, a .bin file and a .cue file that I wish to backup to DVD. Is anyone familiar with how I burn these type of files to DVD?

Also, I assume that to burn an .avi file, I just drag it to Toast like I did with the .mpg file I burned. But should I run .avi files through Divx Doctor first? I don't really know the ins and outs of these files, but from what I gather .avi's use different types of audio for the movie, like AC3 or other stuff. Just wondering if I should doctor them up to make them standard before burning.

Thanks for any wisdom you guys can impart on me.
