Sounds a little pricy to me.
Most of that software is old.
Used CRTs go really cheap these days.
I encourage anyone using X to get a dual processor machine. They don't sell for a lot on ebay, but hey're totally worth any extra money you'd need to pay.
I have a dual 450 and it seems considerably faster than the 400 I used at work.

Yeah, I looked briefly on Ebay, but a lot of those systems don't come with all these extras I'm getting on this deal. Points taken about the monitor and software, but I think it's a good deal anyway. I've decided to buy, and am planning on picking it up around 2 PM today. I'll reply back with details.

This is a major upgrade for me! I've been wanting to get the new iMac G4, but this tower will probably satisfy me better.

Well, I picked it up! $1,200 for all of the above, PLUS:

4 port USB hub
10 zip disks (100 MB)
2 USB keyboards (the original is still with the owner, she'll look for it)
6 or 7 books (Adobe ____ Classroom in a Book, Office 2001 For Dummies)

So, I suppose it's debatable as to whether or not I could have done better, but I'm loving it, especially dinking around with Mac OS X. This is really my first time getting into it, and Classic already looks hideous!

Weeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I purchased on E-Bay late last year a used G4/450/AGP tower and installed OSX10.1.3. I am happy with it other than the well documented bugs that still exist in OSX. I have read that the large 1MB level 2 cache will make this perform as well as some of the more speeder new platforms.
A good mid-life choice that should serve you well for many a year. That is, until Apple released the G5 CPU!!!

Sorry for being an ass but I really have to say this

Never include software with the selling hardware unless they are legal copies and come with the real package AND the ownership transfer

Otherwise those software can't increase the value of your package since they were 'free' at the beginning.

Don't worry about it, I made sure they were the full titles. CDs, serial numbers, everything.
