Os10.4.2 And Isync Quits

Upgraded my dual USB G3 snow iBook to 10.4.2 and now iSync quits unexpectedly. Sometimes when I keep restarting iSync it'll stay running but does not see my iPod even though iTunes updates it just fine.

I've seen similar problems posted on the Apple.com forums but none of the fixes I've tried there have made any difference at all.

Any suggestions?
