| LARGE ATA drives dissed by Jaguar? Got a 160Gb Maxtor partitioned as 128 & 25 Gb volumes, running off a SIIG UltraATA 133/100 RAID High-speed, dual channel Ultra ATA 133/100 controller. This is installed in a G4 Quicksilver 800x2. 10.1.5 sees a 127.9Gb volume and a 24.73Gb volume, read/write from either works fine. 10.2.2 (and 10.2.3 - I just updated this afternoon) see the small, high sector #side as 70+ Gb & every time I go to access it in the Finder, the Finder quits & re-starts & the volume window remains completely unavailable.... I don't even want to try to access it from an app; I'm afrain to even boot into Jaguar until I get some outside opinions. |

| Yeah, the firmware was updated on the G4 some time ago. Turned out I had the Maxtor running off the logic board's ATA controller; I know there are issues there. Switching it over to the SIIG - like I thought it had been all along - solved the problem. |
