| imac HD imaging Good morning all! On my PC I use Norton Ghost to image HD0 onto HD1 so I can easily get the system operating after a HD crash; just make HD1 the master and all is well. I boot from the Ghost floppy, then image HD0 to HD1; 40G takes about 10 minutes. What do you advise to accomplish a this on my iMac 500/10.3.9 ? The iMac has a single internal HD, so I'd need an external HD for backup. Wondered what hardware (external drive) and software are recommended. I assume a disaster prevention would need to boot from CD, create a full image of the internal drive to the external drive, *AND* in case of disaster, somehow boot and restore the image from the external to a new HD (I assume booting from the internal CD/DVD drive). Which hardware/software imaging and recovery systems are recommended? Thanks. Tom |

| Use a Firewire External drive and either SuperDuper or Carbon Copy Cloner.
