Flash disk: a lot of files (not a trash issue)

Hi,
i use flash memory a lot. I have a 2.5 gb flash seagate disk (http://www.seagate.com/products/retail/pocket/).

Everytime i upload some files and then move them to a pc, i get all this files with symbols before their names, and their size is small, like say, 2kb or 5kb. Is there anyway to tell Os X Tiger not to create this files? it only happens when i move files from mac to pc, not pc to pc. Why does this happen?

thank you, i hope you can help me.
Alberto.

These are most likely the DS_Store files OS X uses. You can disable this using TinkerTool (free).
