Analog Video Capture devices for Ti Book (PCMCIA/USB/FW)

I am looking for an inexpensive solution for video capture from analog sources. By inexpensive I mean under $100, which kind of excludes devices like the EyeTV EZ. I have noticed that there are a plethora of capture devices that are for PC, or at least do not have drivers for OSX. I am wondering if there are any universal drivers or if any of these devices could work natively with FCP or iMovie. If anyone ahs any insight, let me know.
