| Address Book not responding Hi! I have Mac OS 10.3.9, Address Book 3.1.2. About a month ago, was the last time I opened Address Book to add new email addresses, so I know it was working then. When I use Mail (v 1.3.11), I use the Address Book to address new messages. No problems, so far. However, yesterday I needed to open Address Book directly to amend an email address, and could not do so. I had to use Force Quit . I tried again after restarting, but could not open the application. The only different thing that I have done in the last month is to disable some fonts (but NOT system fonts) which I do not use. Could this be connected or is there some other explanation? | I'd try backing up and then deleting the address book preferences plist from {home}/Library/Preferences/. This will put the address book settings back to default, but shouldn't clear the actual contents of your address book. Failing that, try setting up a new user account and see if the address book works when you logon with that account.
