Mac Mini G4 - Superdrive rejecting blank DVDs

Mac Mini G4 1.4, 512MB, Superdrive (UJ835F (with updated firmware)) , Toast Titanium 6

My Mac mini now spits out blank DVD-Rs after attempting to read them for a few seconds. It used to read/write this particular brand fine, though that was last using 10.4.7 (though this may be coincidence).

Drive reads blank CDs, burnt CD/DVDs, and bought CD/DVDs fine.


Any ideas? Thanks in advance
