| SuperDrive wont burn on a MacBook Hey folks, I've got a MacBook that is a couple of years old now. I'm trying to burn about a dozen copies of some audio from a conference I ran. I've tried burning directly from iTunes and by using Toast. In both cases it's hit and miss. Sometimes I'll get one or two copies burned, and then an error message will come up saying that the disk can't be burned. The error messages are different with both programs, but in either case, I'm stuck. Any suggestions? The MacBook is no longer under warranty, so I'd like to avoid having to take it in to be repaired. Could it be something as simple as needing to be cleaned? |

| First reset your Pram to see if that helps. Plus with an older CD/DVD drive you may would want to run a CD/DVD cleaner disk. This may also help.

| You also might want to try another brand of CD or DVD (you didn't say which) as the Superdrive is "choosy" on brands. Verbatim & Sony are my preferred brands; I've had bad luck with Memorex
