transfering music

Just out of interest is it possible to transfer some music i have on my minidisc to my iMac? Or is it just going to be easier and cheaper for me to get a Hi-Fi CD recorder, transfer the tunes to CD them wack them onto iTunes?

By mini disc do you mean a small cd or the soni mini-disc format? I think the easiest way to transfer is to plug that mini-disc player into your computer and record to a stereo wav file and convert that to an mp3.

Actually you are kind of up a creek with the minidisk stuff. Sony is very strict with the DRM on the minidisks and you cannot get the music out without going through an analogue pass or using something like audio hijack for the PC. There is no Mac support at all for minidisks, Sony doesn't like us Mac users.
