| Streaming to Airport Express from other than iTunes I just setup my Airport Express that I got "refreshed" from the Apple Store for $115 ... a deal, that I ended up spending too much time figuring out how to reset to factory defaults before I was able to configure it and get it working ... so much for the "refreshing" ... IT'S AWESOME!!! I love being able to stream from iTunes on my PowerBook, or from iTunes on my Windows XP Compaq desktop - via the wired network ... So my question is, does anyone know of any third-party apps that can hijack the audio out of an app, say Real Player or DVD Player, etc., and stream it to an airport express set of "remote speakers" ??

| Airport Extreme uses an encryption key and Apple Lossless Compression to transfer the audio. It is questionable at this time whether it could legally be bypassed. I don't think you'll have much luck getting it to work, though, and unless Apple decides to support other apps, we won't be seeing any AE supported apps anytime soon.
