| Need recommendation for Cell Phone/PDA w/ Bluetooth Like the title says, I'm looking for a new cell phone that could double as a PDA and also has Bluetooth and can sync to my mac. Ideas? |

| I have a Sony Ericcson T616. I don't know if it does the PDA thing, but it does have a calendar and contact list that syncs with iSync. Bluetooth support is pretty good, except for the fact that my contacts' workplaces don't update on sync for some reason. I would not recommend this phone, however. Its interface sucks; options are strewn about and don't make sense. Waaaaay too many questions pop into the head when you try to dig into the bowels of the phone. The small keys are annoying too. On the upside, I have an aqua theme installed. ![]() |

| Hmmm... I would recommend against PDA-Cell Phone-Bluetooth all-in-one devices -- sure, they can do three things, but they don't do any of them particularly well. Hoeabout a separate cell phone, and a Blackberry device? Everyone I know that has a Blackberry loves it, and most have Bluetooth built-in. I can't vouch for Mac OS X compatibility of the Blackberries, though... Just my $0.02...

| supposedly pocketmac (http://www.pocketmac.net/) will do the trick with any blackberry devices. don't know from experience though. I like my t610, but it's not perfect. I just can't find the next thing I'll be as happy with w/o paying $500 and up...

| The Treo 650 is what life is about (ok to a geek maybe)...it has all the features you need, the proven Palm OS, great screen, thousands of available apps to make life easier, bluetooth for a headset, car adapter etc. Plus I use it with my powerbook for online access anywhere I have a cell signal. It has its own built in browser for occasonal use, but using it as a modem is a great feature. I have been REALLY happy with mine.
