| I've read good things about LaCies in various Mac Forums, you might wanna check those... I recently thought my SD on my PB was not working properly, it turns out I was using crappy discs. Moral: Don't buy crappy NO NAME discs, try TDKs... |

| Lacies drives seems to get good reviews, they have some new one wich can burn images on the top of the cd/dvd:s too, but its slow... nice anyway |

| Yep -- I would suggest any of LaCie's products with the exception of their "Porsche" branded line. Their Porsche drives suck, plain and simple -- no wonder they're sold at bargain prices. I don't think there's a "Porsche" external DVD drive that they sell, but if they do, don't get it. Their d2 line is fantabulous, though.
