| [FAQ] - Classic Applications in OSX I am having trouble with my classic environment in MAC OS X. Some programs like Quickbooks 4 will open and function great in os 9 environment. But, other Programs like Final Cut Pro 1.0 or Imovie 2.0 will not open. I get this error message... "That application or control panel is not supported by Classic" Does anyone know how to fix this problem? |

| Sorry, if it says that something "isn't supported," then it isn't supported. You have to either get a newer, OS X-compatible version of the program, or reboot your computer in 9. So, first of all, there's an OS X compatible version of iMovie.... it's iMovie 3.0.1, and it's currently available for free to download, or you can buy it, if you don't have a fast net connection. http://www.apple.com/ilife Secondly.... Final Cut Pro.... sorry, buddy. Guess you'll have to upgrade to version 3, or just reboot in 9 to use it.
