iPhone /sound dock?

I've seen on the web that the Bose sound dock is compatible with a 16 Gb iPhone but when its sat on it the phone tells me that this is not a supported device, The Sound dock is a year old?

Should I carry on regardless?

Thanks

Norman

Carry on regardless. Basically, you might get some interference sounds whenever you receive a call or an SMS while the iPhone sits on that device. I'm using my iPhone with an older Apple Universal iPod Dock and my Sony stereo without a problem. Of course that message appears, but can be ignored.
