Mac OS X and Firewalling

I have a little problem which has stumped me totaly for now...

I've just tried to setup a firewall on an OS-X Server using Brickhouse. I have a G4 Quicksilver server with another ethernet card in, the second ethernet card goes into a hub with one client on it and the first ethernet card goes into the main network which has the internet access...

All fine and dandy until I try to access a URL I can go anywhere in the local network IE to our internal web servers pick up mail or anything but when I try to get a website outside are network it fails to connect as though something is blocking it until I load up IE on the server and type the same URL I'm trying to access on the client and as soon as the server connects the client does but only to that URL that I typed into the server's browser and the same can be done if I type another URL into the server the client can access that URL...

Can anyone surguest a reason for this happening? or can anyone recommend a solution so that the OS-X Server can act as a gateway for client so that IP filtering can be enabled and the clients can't get around it...

thanks for any help

Hmmm....

Hmmmm....Well, I use BrickHouse also, but only as a personal firewall for my home Macs, which are on Time Warner's Road Runner highspeed cable network. I know that it provides various blocks for web usage. Are all of these disabled? You sound rather Mac proficient, so I would imagine that this is a little too obvious, but just a thought. Since I've never tried this with networked computers using a server, I've never experienced that problem before.

yes I've turned off all the rules and allowed total access..

I can get into my own internal network and all it's servers perfectly but as soon as I leave are network and go on the net the client just sits there and acts dumb... it's so strange that if I load up IE on the server and go to the same URL the client can access that URL from then on as though the server has cleared a path for it out to the net which is very strange
