DVD Player - Machine not supported?

DVD Player - Machine not supported?

Ummm.... I have a G4 867 with OS X 10.1.5 and DVD Player 3.1.1. When I launch the DVD Player, it says "This machine configuration is not supported. The application will now quit." Excuse me? Anyone know why this is? I even tried trashing the preferences, and also reinstalling DVD Player, but no luck.
