| Classic can't detect my Internet connection - HELP! I'm running OS X 10.1.5 and OS 9.2.2. My ISP is Verizon DSL which is PPPoE. In OS 9 I have to use a Verizon-supplied dialer program to connect. In OS X I simply use the Internet Connect program in my taskbar. When I boot Classic mode (OS 9 under OS X) none of my Classic programs can detect my Internet connection. That is, unless I disable the MacPoET extension in Extension Manager. This program is related to the Verizon dialer program. So...programs like browers and such then CAN find my Internet connection. EXCEPT for RealPlayer. Anyone know how I can get RealPlayer to find my connection in Classic mode? (Yes, I know about RealOne beta but due to a RealNetworks glitch I cannot use RealOne to access what I want - this is confirmed by RealNetworks) ANYONE? HELP! |

| hmmm.... what are your TCP/IP settings ? I dont know about PPPoE settings since I dont use em myself, but I think your TCP/IP settings should reflect that type of connection in order for your apps to see the connection
