Question inexpensive Mac-compatible dial-up ISP

After being with Earthlink for about 5 years (that's about $1,300.00!!!), I need to change. Even though I am satisfied with Earthlink, I am unemployed and am seeking to save money. There are a lot of Mac-compatible ISP's out there for about half the price. I have researched, and am considering the following:
BasicISP, Copper, ISP.com, Toast.net, Phreego.com, 550Access, Dialup4less, 650Dialup, Monster, MacRunner, and MacDialup.
Obviously, I need a lot of help, since I don't know very much about these. Could anyone give me input (positive or negative) on any of these? Thank you!!!!!

You might consider "TollFree ISP." I keep an account there
for when I'm on the road. It only costs you when you use it,
no monthly fees. Pretty cheap. Local numbers worldwide.

http://www.tollfreeisp.net/

On the downside, you'd need to find an e-mail account. All
you get is net access.

DSL from SBC is now $14.95 per month (cheaper than a lot of dial-up) if you sign up online. If you are in an area that can get it, it is a very good deal. They will include a DSL modem, as well. If you do go this route, please put jr3685 in the promo field when you are ordering to let them know that I referred you.

I went to tollfreeisp's website and found it confusing.
From what I could gather, since I spend about 5 hours a night on the internet, that it would be very expensive for me.

I'm not familiar with any you listed, but I use FasterMac from OWC as a backup dialup and highly recommend it. You can check it out here:
