Palm And Isync

Stats:

Palm Desktop 4.2.1
Isync 2.1
Tiger 10.4.2
Powerbook G4 1.5 12"

Problem:

I have a Palm Treo 600, and I cannot find a way too get Isync 2.1 to work. The unit will sync with Palm desktop, but no matter how I set the conduits or how many reinstallations, I cannot get Isync to actually sync. When I attempt to sync, the best and most recent error message I get is the following:

iSync Conduit starting 7/24/05 9:23:01 AM
User Jeff McBride configured for Palm Address Book conduit and corresponding iSync data class, skipping iSync to avoid conflicting modifications 7/24/05 9:23:01 AM
iSync Conduit: Sending Error Response 6: User Jeff McBride configured for Palm Address Book conduit and corresponding iSync data class 7/24/05 9:23:01 AM
iSync Conduit: received NULL message, disconnecting... 7/24/05 9:23:01 AM

How can I resolve this?

Thanks.

You need to remove the palm conduits from the conduits folder. Isync should have done this for you upon detection and installation. I recently converted to Isync from the Entourage conduits, and when running Isync, it asked permission to put the conduits in a disabled conduits folder.
My conduits folder has the following: (i will leave out the specialized ones)
Apple
Backup
Install
Memo
Note Pad
Photos

If you have competing conduits they will all fail to run.
