Question iSync and Address Book

I hope someone out there has a answer for this one:

My wife and I share an iMac at home, using seperate log ins and home folders, like Apple wants us to. I would however like us to be able to share an address book (using Apple's Address Book). In the past we have been using a Database created in Filemaker Pro to keep track of our contacts, so sharing a file hasn't been a problem. When Jaguar came out we made the switch and after having problems importing our contacts from Filemaker, I painfully re-entered over 300 contacts into Apple's Address Book to complete our migration. For a temorary solution we began e-mailing Address Book changes and addition back and forth in an attempt to keep our Address Books in sync. I was sure that eventually iSync would come along and solve our syncing problems. But that does not seem to be the case. We purchased our .Mac account and I regestered my iMac using my login. I then uploaded my contacts from my login then switched to hers and registered as the same computer name. I then ran iSync to complete the operation. It looked as if everything was good to go.Then my wife launched her iChat, only to discover that her personal contact information had been replaced with mine, and iChat logged her in as me. AAAAAHHHHHHHGGGGGGG!!!!

Am I missing something??? Am I setting up iSync and .Mac properly?

Does anyone know of a way for 2 people to share 1 address book? Maybe I can place the contact files into a shared folder and then place aliases of that file somewhere in our respective home folders??? I am stumped! HELP!!!

Before I thought you were just using an old version of isync. I am under the impression that isync until recently did not support .mac. Also, I didn't think about the addressbook changing the users "me" vcard, thus changing the iChat login. Other than that iSync should work. Your other option might be to use one address book to make entries and just copy the addressbook file from one login to the next periodically. The address book file is located in ~/Library/Application Support/AddressBook/
