| Installing Dvd Player For Os 10.3.9 I am running mac os 10.3.9 and just recently added a external dvd drive. When I Installed os 10.3 It didn't install the apple dvd player. I'm assuming thats because it didn't detect a dvd drive. I would like to install that now. How do I install without reloading the entire program? |

| Get 'Pacifist' from http://www.versiontracker.com/osx and use that to extract the DVD player from the 10.3 disks.

| Be aware that Apple's DVD Player software does not recognize external DVD drives, though -- only internal DVD drives.

| Get Pacifist I think this has been posted here earlier, but Pacifist will allow you to install indivdual packages from the Install CDs. (Pacifist is shareware.) You might have to look around for a while to find the right package. (www.charlessoft.com) jc |
