AppleScript and CpMac help please

I need some help. I have not found a real good way to have AppleScript work with a terminal command(CpMac) that came with the Developer Tools..
What I am trying to do is to use AppleScript to display a window that will allow you to navigate to what you want to copy from a server to your local machine. Then to use the Terminal command "CpMac" to move the file.

Our servers use Ushare. Ushare does not retain the creator/type info so that OSX can see it. If you try to copy a file from the server through the finder the file will just disappear once you click on it. If you use Terminal and use the command "cp" or "mv" the file shows up on your machine as an unknown file with a plain white icon. CpMac is the only thing that will work.

thanks in advance
