Question Stuffit Expander V7.01

I just discovered and down loaded Stuffit Expander 7.01. There was a problem with the orignal V 7.0 under Jaguar 10.2 that I was not aware of. I never had a problem with it. Can anybody tell me what it was?

I think the "problem" was that StuffIt 7.0.0 doesn't open or encode the new StuffitX archives...

I can't open hqx files with 7.0. I can with 6.5.1. Haven't tried 7.0.1 yet.

Really?! That's a bit surprising.
Let us know if it works with binhexed files, I don't umm have any handy.

Or wait is it that surprising...

toast will become famous soon enough
Stuffit 7 is very very very fast compared to 6.5.1. At least on my machine - G3/500 OSX.2.1.

BinHex decompresses perfectly with Stuffit 7.00 here too !
v7.01 can now decode .sitx files. I don't know if this new encoding is really worth it. I still use ZIP most of the time because I need the PC world to understand my archives.
