Stuffit extract problems

Hey, I've been having a few problems with stuffit lately. I have expander 10.0 whenever I try to extract files I keep having to extract about 5 times before the actual content extracts the first 5 times are just empty files or just some of the files.

Anyone have any idea what could be going on?

EDIT: The files I'm trying to extract are .sit files.

It's not StuffIt -- try this:

When you've unstuffed a folder from a .sit file that shows "0 items" in the folder, simply create a new, empty folder on your desktop, and drag it into the recently unstuffed folder. Chances are when you do this, the files in the unstuffed folder will magically show up.

Happens to me as well.

Yep. It's the Finder's problem actually - or how StuffIt integrates with it.
