.mac Sync Error

Hi,

I just purchased and set up .Mac. I set up a profile with password. I'm able to login via Safari and I get properly validated using .Mac in System Preferences. The problem I'm having is using Sync. I'm trying to sync my calendar and address book but receive the following error when I select Sync Now "Unable to access your .Mac user name or password. Please verify your .Mac member name and password in the .Mac preferences in System Preferences."

I've verified that my user name and password work correctly numerous times, but still receive this message. Help!
