Mac OS X system audio control

Hey,

I'm wondering if any of you guys know of something that would allow me greater audio control than what is provided in the Sound prefPane.

What I'd like is a system-wide control for bass etc. So I guess you could say I'd like an equalizer prefPane.

After searching on versiontracker I couldn't find anything remotely close to this.
Anyone know of anything?

Well I don't know any System Preference Panes but on my G5 I always have been using Audio Hijack Pro on any application to enhance it to my taste.

Audio Hijack is great! I would prefer something lighter and more omnipresent but it does the job. Thanks.
