Typing additional info on TIFF file

iMacG5 OSX 10-3-9
Epson Stylus CX4600 scanner/printer

I scanned from a book, a list, to File. It shows as TIFF file. I want to add remarks to the items on the list. Bringing up Preview, it does not give me the ability to add remarks.

Comment: I tried making changes (sizing, zooming) while list was being scanned, however it goes through the motions, but does not facilitate the changes made on the filed document. The sizing, zooming can be done through Preview, but Preview does not offer typing in comments.

Question: How can I type in remarks on this material? Thanks, Francey

a simple fix would be to place the tiff into word. (you may have to convert the tiff to jpg first) then insert text boxes over the scanned image.

Jellyroll: Thank you for the input. If I convert the tiff file to jpg and file it into Maps...I can understand that.
How do I insert text boxes over the scanned image?

Mister Me: Thanks for the input. However, I don't know where this Graphic Converter is on my OSX. Could you detail how I find it? Thanks.
