Quicktime And Itunes Won't Run.

How can I get my Quicktime and iTunes running again? I have already run Disk Warrior and OSx Cocktail, but it still won't work. I can get Quickytime to run if streaming video from the web, but it will not open an mpeg file from my desktop. itunes won't play if I put in an audio cd in the drive, or if I try to "open with" from the desktop cd icon after I've inserted one into the drive.
