bug? printer always prints all pages...(?)

osx 10.4.3
g4 15"
whenever i tell my g4 to just print the first 3 pages of something, it still prints out the whole 99...
anyone know about this bug?
i click on the "from" bubble, and put in 1 to 3
and it still prints the whole thing...

Printing Pages

Within your print dialogue box there are usually additional options that will take you to an additional dialogue box this may be under 'options' or 'printer' quite often there are a number of these hidden within each other. There will probably a tick box which needs turning off which has automatically been set to 'print all'. Fingers crossed anyway.
