Unrippable DVD

I've been ripping some DVDs lately, and it's been going pretty well. Handbrake is great for converting to mp4, and Mac The Ripper does its job just fine, too.

However, there's one DVD (Legend of Drunken Master) that I can't rip. Both Handbrake and Mac The Ripper unexpectedly quit when they start reading it. The DVD plays fine in DVD Player, so it doesn't seem like the disc is corrupt.

The same problem happens whether I use my Mac mini's internal combo drive or my external LaCie FireWire DVD±RW.

Has this ever happened to anyone else? Any ideas on how I could do a successful rip?

I'm now a four-browser man. How on earth did this happen?!

I've had it happen a few times. That seems like a wierd one for it to happen on because usually those problems are caused from extra copy protection measures, like intentional bad sectors.

Unfortunantly the only solution I found was ripping it on my PC. I'm not sure why it worked, maybe the software (DVD Decrypter) was better, or maybe the DVD rom driver was better.
