Remote viewing option with Image Capture

Hi, For some time now I have wished to use the 'Remote Viewing' feature in the Mac Image Capture software. My problem is that although I can use every other feature with my digital camera using Image Capture (although usually I use iPhoto), the option for slecting to view the cam in real-time is 'greyed out'. I have consulted the Image Capture Help, and checked if my camera (Nikon 5700) is compatible - which it is! This seems strange as I am able to share my images over the web direct from my cam, so why is the remote viewing tab 'greyed out'? If anyone can give any insight pls do!
