Sherlock 3.5.1: Is it possible to use it when disconnected from the Internet?

Hi All,

When beeing disconnected from the Internet, Sherlock doesn't want to run. It requests an access to Internet. Is it possible to bypass this requirement so that it can be used in an intranet?

Regards,
-Olivier.

DeltaMac will become famous soon enough
what would you do with Sherlock that would not require realtime access to internet for updated info and so on...Question, What features of Sherlock would be useful without an internet connection (which is where all the features are stored except channel info)

What version of the OS are you using? OS 10.2.3 now has the find command.

Hi,

In fact, I've quickly been through the doc of the Sherlock SDK and it seems we can create our own channels (web services) easily. Since, I would like to provide some (web) services inside an intranet (which are not using resources from the Internet), I tought to use Sherlock as front-end to these web services. And yes, I'm using 10.2.3.

Regards,
-Olivier.

Sherlock is internet only in 10.2.x. Use the find command and you will have the option to go through your network.
