| Mac software for nightly backups I currently using ChronoSync for my nightly backups. It does it's job pretty well but just lacks a feature or two that I'd love to see. What I'd like to do is have a set of backups every day for the previous 7 days. So like on Monday I'd backup to the folder "Monday", then on Tuesday, "Tuesday", etc etc. So that I can always go back up to 1 week for something. Then when the next cycle roles around it'd just overwrite the previous Monday. But the feature I'd REALLY like to see is it to rename the folders as the date of the backup. Like "01-24-05" or something of the sort. And all of this would be completely automated. So anybody have some suggestions for something like this? |
